Ecclesiastes 7:20 ESV
Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.Romans 3:9-10 NIV
9 What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As it is written:“There is no one righteous, not even one; There is a difference between repentance and consequences.
My question is about siblings who grew up with you and have rejected Christ. Christ says if you reject me before men, I'll reject you (right?). Is there hope for these siblings? I want to say yes because God is all merciful, but the other verse confuses me. I also want to say yes because I think I've heard of people later finding God, but anyway...
Matthew 10:32-33 NIV
32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.Matthew 26:69-74 NIV
69 Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. “You also were with Jesus of Galilee,” she said. 70 But he denied it before them all. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said. 71 Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth.” 72 He denied it again, with an oath: “I don’t know the man!” 73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.” 74 Then he began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know the man!”Immediately a rooster crowed.

1 Timothy 2:12 NIV
I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. Why the mystery? Why must our spiritual walk be based on faith when God has the power to make his existence blatantly obvious to those who struggle with their own faith? Wouldn't it behoove God to not keep his plan shrouded in mystery? The concrete thinkers of the world would be a lot more adapt to accept Christ if they were provided disputable proof.
2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
